I think I can manage the hard disk exchange myself... but I still need to purchase the Bluetooth module, which Apple doesn't sell. It seems some guys in France will sell it. And maybe I need a new battery too?

It is one of a few versions www.cordney.com came up when talking about it few days ago, still it is more likely to just drop any addition and call it MacBook.

Hello Johan,

this "old" line of iBooks is reliable, what about the "teething problems" that may come with the new Mac Book "junior"? Why not upgrading your system? One word of advise: Changing the hard disk of an iBook really is a 9 1/2 (difficulty level). If you pay a technician you may as well add the Bluetoooth module (if possible). You know what they say about Tiger and memory? The more the better!
